My Favourite Things

For some reason or other, one day I just started thinking what were the things I truly like. Like the song starting with “Raindrops on Roses” and “Mittens on Kittens”… Well, the things that I like are not so charming, and some of them definitely not as simple.
What are my favourite things?
1. Evenings where sunset leaves a sky of blazing clouds against the background of a park with families and kids strolling around.
2. A talented female jazz artiste with a sexy, alto voice singing the blues in an al fresco beach restaurant.
3. Playing on a grand piano in a really large, empty hall where your audience are a couple of your very best friends.
4. Clothes that are so clean and well pressed that it looked like you just bought it and wore it out from a shopping centre.
5. Pasta with red wine.
6. 2-3 year old toddlers saying grace.
7. Mozart’s Nocturnes and Waltzes
8. Hugh Grant’s British accent (NOT Hugh Grant)
9. Quaint English Cottages
10. Charming French Countryside
I’ll stop at 10. If I think of anymore, I’ll add that onto the next post. How about you? What are your favourite things?
